The Ybor City Chamber of Commerce Visitor Information Center and Gift Shop is the best first stop for tourist information orienting locals and visitors from throughout the world about what to see, what to do, and where to eat in Ybor City and Tampa. It is staffed by tourist counselors who know the Ybor historic district well and can orient visitors beginning with a seven-minute video on the history and background of Ybor City. The Center includes museum exhibits, books on historic Ybor City and Tampa, many guide materials for the Tampa Bay area, and one-of-a-kind distinctive souvenirs. The Visitor Center displays for viewing and for sale historic cigar labels and vintage items with gifts that include cookbooks, jewelry, magnets, T-shirts, and memorabilia relating to the historic district's iconic cigar production, streetlamps, and roosters. The Visitor Center is staffed seven days a week.
The Visitor Information Center is accessible from I-4, exit 1 and from the Selmon Expressway, Exit 9.
